TOM MUHAR

COACH

Tom's fitness journey started in Uruguay, South America. Moving to the country's capital, Montevideo, in December 2012 to follow his Uruguayan partner. He started coaching rugby in a bilingual college for 5 years, working with all ages from primary to high school boys. This time instilled the importance of having fun and finding ways to enjoy the hard work. After a brief time following his passion for cooking, Tom returned to the sports and fitness industry and started personal training in 2020. Working with clients from varied backgrounds and with different goals prepared him for working in Uruguay, Canada and now Australia. Tom's goal is for each client he comes across to have the best quality of life for as long as they can and he believes this process starts now. He believes the quality of movement we can produce and progress to now will make our later years much more enjoyable. ​Tom finds his happy place working on technique on compound movements and loves helping people realize feats of strength and movement previously thought not possible. ​

Cert III & IV in Fitness

Functional training certification,  â€‹

Body composition training,

Mobility and stability practices.
